1997 Acura Integra GS-R 1997 ACURA INTEGRA GSR MILANO RED VOLK HONDA MANUAL

1997 Acura IntegraVIN: JH4DC2387VS000660Listing Date: 2018/10/08
Price: $X,000.0Mileage: XX3,401Location: Hackettstown,NJ,USA

History: The original owner purchased it at the Acura of Denville in 1997. He had it for 13 years and sold it in 2010 with about 108,500 miles on it. During this time, many of the modifications were made that it currently has. After this the owner before me was the one to get the vehicle. His fathers name was put on the title of the vehicle but he was the owner. He only drove it about 1000 miles over a 7 year period and did some aesthetic add ons and things of that sort to dial in the car for his liking. A month before I bought the car, his name was transferred to the title. Therefore the carfax claims that there have been for owners including myself. However I am the third owner of the car. Mods:The car has been modified to a degree, however the interior has remained mostly stock aside from the Skunk 2 shifter, Type R shift boot, Pinoneer 4900 Radio and the gauge pod / VAFC. There is an AEM A/F Ratio gauge as well as a Maximum performance boost gauge. The VAFC is made by Apexi and is setup as a fuel controller for the current tune. The car externally has had some work done. It has the 1998 front and rear bumpers as well as the OEM skirts and valence accessory kit. Additionally it has the OEM 1998 - 2001 fog light kit installed on the front bumper. The front bumper has a Comptech front lip which resembles the Type R lip with some minor differences. I recently has the wheels refinished and powder coated franklin grey. They are Volk C-Ultra wheels made in 1997 to add a nice period correct look to the vehicle. These wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich Comp Sport II tires. They are 16 x 7" +44 and were pushed out using some custom Motorsport Tech 15 mm spacers. The suspension setup is a Tokico Strut with a Tockico coilover kit installed which allows for a large range of height adjustments. It has an ASR subframe brace and control arms in the rear. It also appears to have an aftermarket sway bar, but I am not sure of the manufacturer on it. It also has a front Moroso strut bar. The engine / powertrain is currently what has the most work done. For starters, it is making 230 whp and about 200 lb/ft of torque. This is at 7 psi on its Jackson Racing supercharger. The supercharger steup is all tuned on 93 octane and that is all that should be used in this car. The pulley is an AEM pulley (I believe 2.5" but it may be a little more or less). It has retained its power steering and A/C even with this setup so keep that in mind. Additionally it has a Koyo radiator, Comptech headers, AEM Coils, an AEM cold air intake, and an Apexi N1 Exhaust. The clutch is an ACT clutch, and the flywheel is an XACT. Paintwork: The front bumper was painted as it now has a 1998 front and rear bumper instead of the 1997 front and rear bumper. The previous owner preferred these and decided to switch them out. He also added the rear valences and side skirts that are original OEM painted parts from the factory. The rear bumper is also a factor painted version whereas the front was painted after it was purchased and is not original Acura paint, therefore it is a shade off of the rest of the car and can only be noticed in the right lighting. Aside from that, I was told that all of the paint is original by the previous owner, and my local body shop confirmed the same thing. This was purely for cosmetic appeal and not due to any damage done or anything of that sort. Problems: This car runs excellent, while it has been modified and does not drive quite like a stock Integra, it runs really well. It is supercharged and tuned using an Apexi VAFC and piggyback ecu system. The Air Fuel ratios are always perfect under boost and the car mechanically runs great. It is lowed on coilovers and as such is a rougher ride when going over pot holes and things of that sort. However it handles excellent and is a blast to take on back roads. In terms of paint and other defects, there are very few. As for the interior there are some scuffs here and there as well as a rip the size of a quarter on the drivers side bolstering (as pictured). The paint is in very good condition, Milano Red is notorious for color fade and this car is not faded beside a tiny bit on the mirrors and edges of the rear spoiler. This car has been garage kept its whole and never driven in the winter ever which explains why there is basically no rust on the entire car. As for the paint, the front bumper and hood do have rock chips since this car has been driven . There are a few scratches but notching major and I tried to picture all of them as best as possible. Some of the rock chips on the car were touched up with a paintbrush, but only in a few spots. There are also 3 very small dents on this car. The largest is slightly bigger than a quarter and is about the gas cap on the rear quarter panel. There are two others that you can only see in the correct lighting. One is on the hood of the car and the other is on the hatch lid next to the Acura badge. Rust: No rust is present anywhere besides the heads of some screws and bolts in the engine bay. On the undercarriage there is no rust to my knowledge besides some minor surface rust on the exhaust. Service: Service records detail mainly inspections and registrations on the Car Fax since the previous owners and I have all done work on the car ourselves. However almost all of the oem replacement parts as well as some modifications have the receipts in a folder that I will give to the future buyer of the vehicle. **LOCAL PICKUP ONLY** Additional photos available upon request

Subtle as all get-out, silly fast, and beautifully engineered, it packs a mountain of a motor wrapped in rather sedate bodywork that's bound to catch more than a few guys sleeping. At first glance, this looks like a fairly stock Integra, and that's the entire point. These were already handsome cars, with their distinctive headlights and smooth contours, and adding a wide-body kit does nothing to change all that. It's so cleanly done that you almost think it's factory-built; the nose fits cleanly, the body lines are uninterrupted, and it gives the muscular little hatchback a performance stance. It has been de-badged and repainted, a glorious metallic burgundy that is almost too nice to risk on the street. But that won't matter after you dip into the turbocharged V8's torque reserves; sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself. It's just beautifully built, nicely finished, and obviously intended to be a sleeper. It appears that the headlights have been upgraded but only an expert will notice, while out back there are vents flanking the taillights that give you the inkling that something is going on back there. Oh, and the twin exhaust pipes under the license plate. They're just plain cool. Slide behind the wheel and you may not even notice that this Acura has been so radically modified. Stock seats show some wear, but they're stock, which is all part of the plan. The original steering wheel, gauges, and dash are all in place as well. That big B&M shifter in the center console is a dead giveaway, but the guy in the next car can't see it and it works rather well. There are also auxiliary gauges mounted down low on the console, keeping an eye on the big V8's vitals. You will note there is no radio, but one glance into the back seat area will tell you why, and that's where the fun starts. Everything aft of the front seats has been heavily modified for performance and speed, and the results are just jaw-dropping. That's a 500 cubic inch Cadillac V8 tucked back there. That's 8.2 liters of muscle. But in case that isn't enough, it's buffed by a pair of high-mounted 65mm turbochargers blowing into a 950 CFM carburetor on top. There are two intercoolers up front, complete with their own fan, and, well, you can see the amount of work that went into shoehorning that giant V8 in there. It uses a Cadillac subframe and suspension to hold it all in place, as well as the Eldorado's TH425 3-speed automatic transmission, since it's the only transmission that fits AND can handle all that torque. Up front where the Integra's engine used to live, you'll find a giant aluminum radiator and a 17 gallon fuel cell, as well as a V1000 fuel pump. A custom exhaust system was fabricated to include the aforementioned turbos as well as a set of O2 sensors for wide-band tuning, and giant mufflers do their best to keep the beast quiet enough to hunt its prey. As I mentioned, it's insanely fast but thanks to the big Cadillac's inherent smoothness and the gentle nature of the turbos, it is anything but tricky on the street. Lean into the accelerator and the car lunges forward like it was drop-kicked by God, but it doesn't get out of hand. Some of the credit still has to go to Acura engineers for their rock-solid suspension tuning, and the 4-wheel disc brakes deliver plenty of stopping power, even for this monster. 17-inch Honda S2000 wheels help with the illusion and carry 225/45/17 front and 245/45/17 rear performance radials. This isn't a car for just anyone but that's entirely the point. If you're a special kind of crazy that loves speaking softly and carrying a big stick, this Acura delivers in a very big way. Call now! Car hasn't been tracked for a year and driven very little since. Another alignment would be nice because the last shop didn't straighten the steering wheel properly. Its not necessarily needed though, all values and tire wear are fine. The car was run in TTE at 2405 lbs minimum competition weight (so including driver & equipment). Actual car weight below 2300lbs, just never weighted it without driver and equipment. Runs mid-pack in TTE. Could be put into TTF with a little bit of work (mainly ballast), would profit from a dyno reclass in TTE (the massive weight removal causes a lot of points to be used up when classed by points). The car handles great and has been very reliable for both me and the previous owner. Rotates when you want it to, but usually doesn't surprise you. It's been tons of fun in a wide range of temperatures and both rain and dry, the steering feedback this car gives is very nice. This is a great car to do track events or instruct in (the 2 racing seat setup is nice to have to give students ride-alongs). No trailer needed, 6 tires plus camping equipment and tools fit easily. Very reliable and affordable to run with just the bolt-ons to run as-is, but it would have potential for a more aggressive build. Lots of options and as for most Hondas/Acuras, lots of parts are still available. Please see YouTube video of car in action at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCr2bjD5DMbcSPbh5L8k99BwAt present windshield wipers are not functioning, son in law says it is an easy fix. The description above is from my son-in-law's email from Germany. To the best of my knowledge all information is correct.I am not accepting PayPal. For some reason I keep removing PayPal from the options for payment and then it pops up again reading that I accept it. No credit cards or PayPal. Thanks,
